Das Dragon Dance Texture Pack setzt vor allem auf weiche Texturen und eine helle Darstellung. So kannst du mehr Licht und Leuchtkraft in deine Welt von Minecraft bringen. Attraktive japanische Designelemente
Das beginnt bereits bei den Schwertern. Du wirst feststellen, dass diese etwas comichaft, aber zweifellos im Rollenspielstil gehalten sind. Dafür hast du beim Eisenschwert eine sehr breite Klinge, die nach innen gebogen ist. So erinnert es an Teile von Final Fantasy, Dragon Age und ähnliche Vertreter des Genres. Das Holzschwert wirkt etwas brüchig, das Steinschwert relativ gewöhnlich. Besonders hervorheben lassen sich das Goldschwert und das Diamantschwert. Das Goldschwert erinnert ein bisschen an das Eisenschwert, ist jedoch deutlich dünner gehalten. Das Diamantschwert ist elegant gebogen, sodass du dich an ein Samuraischwert erinnert fühlen wirst.
Auch die Erzblöcke sind in diesem Stil gehalten. Statt zahlreiche Steine des jeweiligen Elements wirst du nur einen einzelnen Stein finden. Dieser ist in den Block eingefasst und wirkt wie ein Edelstein, den es zu bergen gilt. Diese lassen sich sehr gut erkennen, da sie relativ groß sind. Die nicht integrierte Umrandung der Blöcke stört also quasi gar nicht.
Einige Blöcke haben ebenfalls klassische Rollenspieldesigns darauf abgebildet. Beispielsweise wirst du Blöcke mit einem aufgravierten Drachen, gekreuzten Waffen oder edlen Schilden finden. Unter anderem sind Drachenköpfe auch auf einigen Eisentüren zu finden.
Nahezu alle Texturen verfügen über eine sehr feine, klare Zeichnung. So wirst du bei allen Arten von Stufen und zahlreichen Steinblöcken eine sehr eindeutige Zeichnung finden. Das sorgt nicht nur für eine klare Optik, sondern sieht auch sehr gut aus.
